W24, Hi-viscose memory foam mattress

Memory foam is a technologically advanced type of visco-elastic PU foam and offers a high degree of pressure relief.

Memory foam mattresses are temperature sensitive and are designed with billions of spherical shaped open cells. These cells are designed to respond to body temperature and pressure points. They shift their form under the weight of your body, shaping to the contours and giving support where it's needed most. Our W24 mattress has an optimum 3 inch layer of memory foam and under this a further 3 inches of supportive foam. It is in a multi- directional stretch waterproof cover to ensure that you get the benefit of its pressure relieving qualities.It is 6 inches deep and is medium firmness (which varies a little depending on temperature) and has a weight capacity of 30stone.

Theraposture mattress options

Theraposture offer a wide choice of high quality mattresses to cater for each individual’s requirements. Personalised comfort is vital for good health, therefore we endeavour to allow people to try different mattresses during any home visit or assessment. Mattresses are very personal and should the mattress not suit you within seven days following delivery, we will exchange it for a different mattress to an equivalent value or a more expensive mattress for the difference in price. All mattresses are sold in sizes to suit the bed that you have purchased, and almost all mattresses can be made to any size.

We also supply extras to improve your comfort levels, such as fitted sheets for any sized beds, with or without a sewn in pillow case (very useful on a profiling bed!) We can get special covers made for any mattresses out of special Thermic material which is a special patented material made by Deslee Clama which keeps your body temperature between 28 and 30 degrees. This can be particularly helpful on foam pressure relieving mattresses where some people find that they sleep very hot. However be aware that putting any cover over a pressure relieving mattress will reduce its pressure relieving qualities. We can supply very comfortable memory foam pillows.
