Theracare Ortho

The Theracare Ortho mattress is an orthopaedic mattress as it is very supportive and firm. The mattress is actually made with a combination of foams and is finished in a quilted cover to achieve a domestic look and feel. It has a summer side in Coolmax fabric and a winter side in wool. It is breathable, anallergenic and has mite protection. It was first recommended to us by the Spinal Unit at Odstock Hospital Salisbury and has been well received by those who really like a firm mattress. It is 7.5 inches thick and available in most sizes. It has a weight limit of 30stone.

Theraposture mattress options

Theraposture offer a wide choice of high quality mattresses to cater for each individual’s requirements. Personalised comfort is vital for good health, therefore we endeavour to allow people to try different mattresses during any home visit or assessment. Mattresses are very personal and should the mattress not suit you within seven days following delivery, we will exchange it for a different mattress to an equivalent value or a more expensive mattress for the difference in price. All mattresses are sold in sizes to suit the bed that you have purchased, and almost all mattresses can be made to any size.

We also supply extras to improve your comfort levels, such as fitted sheets for any sized beds, with or without a sewn in pillow case (very useful on a profiling bed!) We can get special covers made for any mattresses out of special Thermic material which is a special patented material made by Deslee Clama which keeps your body temperature between 28 and 30 degrees. This can be particularly helpful on foam pressure relieving mattresses where some people find that they sleep very hot. However be aware that putting any cover over a pressure relieving mattress will reduce its pressure relieving qualities. We can supply very comfortable memory foam pillows.
