Warranty and equipment inspection details

Warranty

The warranty period for each product is detailed on both the product brochure and the relevant web page.

The warranty covers defects in manufacture and failure of the product during the warranty period for parts, labour and traveling expenses.

This warranty cannot be extended or re-instated once the period of warranty expires. We recommend that you take the maximum available cover for complete peace of mind.

Exclusions to the warranty are negligence, misuse and damage. See the product instructions, which came with your Theraposture product, for more detail and examples.

Whilst every effort is made to ensure a rapid response, Theraposture do not guarantee a response time. Should you require service, please refer to your product instructions. Please follow the suggestions listed as we reserve the right to charge for unnecessary call outs.

Additional warranty for all products £75.00 per year (excluding the Rotoflex)

The Rotoflex bed may be extended at £250.00 per year.

A maximum of 2 additional years in addition to the standard warranty may be purchased.

At the end of the additional purchase period the warranty expires. However should you wish to continue to have the annual inspection only, these are available at a cost of £60.00 per inspection.

These prices are fixed for your product and will not be increased. Each years warranty / inspection must be paid for at least 12 months in advance.

Inspections

Schedule of inspection for Beds and Cots.

• Test earthing of product by fitting RCD
• Operate all functions and leave in elevated position for visual access.
• Disconnect from power. Visually check all electrics.
• Vacuum frame and under product.
• Visually check frames, pivot points, motor mountings, castors, torque tubes, torque tube wheels, motor drive spigots, and all other parts.
• Check security and operation of cot side rails, lifting poles, grab rails and all other ancillary equipment
• Change 9v battery where fitted and if necessary.
• Lubricate where necessary
• Reconnect to power supply.
• Operate all functions listening for noises and checking for any fouling and ensuring free movement.
• Visually inspect upholstery and surrounds.
• Check above for security and tighten where necessary.
• Carry out any specific jobs for this product
• Closely check hand control and its operation.
• Check massage operation and hand control
• Check mattress condition.

Schedule of inspection for Chairs

• Test earthing of product by fitting RCD
• Operate all functions and leave in elevated position for visual access.
• Disconnect from power. Visually check all electrics.
• Vacuum frame and under product.
• Visually check frames, pivot points, motor mountings, castors, torque tubes, motor drives spigots, and all other parts. Lubricate where necessary.
• Check security and operation of arms, removable arms and all other ancillary equipment
• Check topper pad fixings
• Check seat/PR cushion where fitted
• Reconnect to power supply.
• Operate all functions listening for noises and checking for any fouling and ensuring free movement.
• Visually inspect upholstery and surrounds
• Check anti crush operation, and fittings.
• Carry out any specific jobs for this product.
• Closely check hand control and its operation.
• Check massage operation and hand control.
