Why an Emma Variation?
• two standard bed sizes: 90/170 cm and 90/200 cm
• extreme height adjustment of 70 cm - for very low access and also a perfect height for care and therapy.
• a special door fitting prevents the doors being from the inside.
• can also have a flat or manually adjustable sleeping platform
• the wood is protected against sweat and saliva
• the smooth solid wood feels warm and corresponds with the physiological sensation of our children. The varnish meets EN/71-3, the standard for wooden toys.
• can also be used for playing during the day
• perspex all around enables unrestricted eye-contact
• the sleeping platform height can be adjusted to suit every wheelchair height
• because the Olaf goes so low, it is also extremely suitable in assisting where the mother is disabled
Special Features of the Emma
• 70 cm variable height as standard
• the low access is important for encouraging mobility
• the large height range suits many different circumstances of both the carer and the user
• round bars and smooth treated wood to touch can help to activate senses
• the 98 cm high cot side offers good protection and safety
• this cot is ideal for padding
