We experienced high levels of interest at the Kidz-to- Adultz-South exhibition in Reading, by offering our new bed funding guide and demonstrating how the latest future-proof Mascot cot can be a wise and considered choice.
Stand 313 received a healthy number of visitors throughout the event including therapists, families and other professionals all keen to learn more about Theraposture’s products, services and educational material. The new guide entitled ‘Funding routes and your rights to the correct solution for your child’ was available from Theraposture for the first time at Kidz and highlighted methods to achieve funding for specialist and adjustable beds. It included information on product provision through social services / NHS, charity grants and loans and private funding along with vital considerations that can assist with selecting appropriate equipment. It specifically highlighted the equipment loan scheme from Newlife and key features of the Care Act that stipulate the rights of every child in terms of assessment and equipment provision.
Liam Braddell, Theraposture Sales Director comments: “We are delighted to report such high levels of interest in our quality adjustable cots and beds for disabled children. Our Trusted Assessors were busy throughout Kidz to Adults South, explaining to families and healthcare professionals why we are number one for quality bespoke solutions and qualified advice. We handed out the new Theraposture cot funding guide to many visitors and reiterated our focus on the individual wants and needs of children and families. This is why our #MySafePlace campaign on social media is vitally important as we are encouraging everyone to focus on the preferences of disabled children and not financial and legislative parameters. We will continue to support all families affected by disability with accurate information such as how deprivation of liberty should not apply to those under 18 and how every child has human rights to be considered, so informed decisions can be made and appropriate cots and beds are provided.”
Theraposture demonstrated its unique future proof Modular Mascot at Kidz South. It provides the ideal flexible solution to keep children and young adults safe and reassured in a non-visually enclosed space. Because of the modular nature of the design, this bed can change when needs change in ways that would have previously meant that additional beds may have to be purchase if a child’s needs change. As with all Mascots, this latest future-proof design negates the need to purchase a new cot in the future – it can be adapted to meet changing needs and hence provides the most cost effective solution available.
